Being safe when you need to be zero gluten, can be a real challenge. Especially during BBQ season.
This recipe can be doubled, tripled etc. Then frozen between sheets of parchment paper.
Remember, cross contamination on bbq's is a real problem so if you are going to friends for dinner and they are not gluten free, simply bring some parchment paper and do your burger on that. It won't get the nice grill marks, but neither will your tummy ;)
1 lb grass fed ground beef
2 tbsp grass fed butter
1 organic free range egg
1/4 cup gluten free sourdough bread crumbs or other GF bread crumbs
2 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
1/2 tsp gluten free Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix really well.
Shape into 4 patties and place on parchment lined plate. Cover with plastic wrap and set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
These freeze perfectly! Make several batches so that you always have safe burgers on hand for a quick summer night dinner!
