I was once asked "why at Hill Top our organic banana's are usually a few cents more than most grocery stores"...in short, like Coffee Banana's have a precarious history of abusing farmers so at Hill Top we only buy Fair-Trade, Organic Bananas, which means Dole and other huge companies who also offer organic in their fruit line up are off the menu for us.
I love bread! It is my happy food. I love getting my hands into the dough, I love watching it rise, and oh my, the smell that it fills my home with, well, it puts a smile on my face every time.
