At Hill Top, we love to bake!
We take great care to source safe naturally gluten-free and organic ingredients for all of our baked goods. We want to offer nutritious, whole foods based baked goods, that not only taste great but are good for you, too.
While we use organic ingredients where ever we can, due to the need to also be strictly gluten free and remain well under 20ppm, we are not always able to do this. However, where organic ingredients are unavailable, we will only source non-GMO as in Authentic Foods Cake and Pastry flour.
All butter, dairy, fair-trade palm shortening, dry sweeteners and eggs are always organic.
Sourdough breads all have a long pre-fermentation from 16-24 hours depending on the loaf. Sourdough breads are free from all gums, egg and dairy, unless specified.
